I want to introduce myself for the ones you don’t know me. My name is Morgan, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist and Equine Sports Massage Therapist for 12 years. I went to school at ITMM in Nashville TN to become a Licensed Massage Therapist , once I graduated I went to Ocala Florida to learn how to do Equine Massage back in 2002.
I was an instructor at a Licensed Massage Therapist in a school in Columbia TN. I decided to branch off and teach Equine Sports Massage to owners/ riders and trainers.
Morgan has been studying the Amassage Method, and will be starting to teach in March 2015. Her background with race horses (exercise rider)and hunter jumpers gives her the knowledge and experience needed to work around horses and the training as an INSTRUCTOR FOR HUMAN MASSAGE gives her knowledge and training to train you to work on horses!

CHRISTY LAPORTE-CANINE MASSAGE INSTRUCTOR
BACHELORS DEGREE IN SCIENCE/VET TECH LARGE ANIMALS
Associates Degree in Science, studied Veterinary Technology. I was one of the lucky students who was able to do my Internship with a local large animal vet. I learned a lot in those 3 months, was astonished how many calls we went to for lame horses! After finishing school, I still continued to work on the racehorse farm and I got a job working at a Small Animal Emergency Clinic.
I decided to further my education wanting to work with large animals. I then went to Midwest Natural Healing for Animals in Milan, In, an Equine Massage Therapy & rehab school. I received my Level 1 certification and have started on my Level 2, which involves Trigger Point therapy. Beverly Brady is the Instructor, and continues to be, plus she is a wonderful mentor. She was a huge success for me launching my business. Her years of knowledge and references make her one of the best Equine Rehab Massage schools around.
I bring to the community over 25 + years experience working with thoroughbreds. I used to show horses, so I know how important it is to have a horse that moves and carries himself like a pro. I was a 4-h member for many years and still continue to be involved with the youth as much as possible.
I started my own business, Cj’s Equine Sports Massage Therapy in April 2014. I am proud to say I have over 80 clients that range from western pleasure to event horses and look forward to many more. I enjoy what I do and I have helped many
owners and horses overcome issues, some of what horse owners were ready to give up.

Excited to add Erin Loveless to the team of instructors. Erin is a LMT and CESMT (2 Certificates, including MNHA) and is working towards her DC (Chiropractic). She is currently working as an instructor at the Lake Erie College and will be doing some classes for us during the year.
Greetings from northern Montana! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Heidi Billmayer. I currently live east of Conrad, MT on a farm where we raise wheat, barley and kids.
I am a 2014 graduate of MNHA, and the first person in Montana to become certified in the Amassage method. I have additional training and experience in red light therapy, kinesiology taping, ECS, myofascial release, rehabilitation strategies, skeletal assessment and biomechanics.
I have spent the last 6 years traveling the state practicing equine massage and building my business. Despite growing up showing Arabians and in later years AQHA, my primary focus in my business has been on barrel horses.
I am a third generation horse woman, coming from a family that has been well diversified in the industry. My grandmother was one of the first Arabian breeders in the state, breeding a hardier and less refined style Arab staring in the 1950’s, with her stallion Serabi. These horses were more suitable for ranch work and life along the river breaks of the Marias and endured Montana winters well.
As a child and young adult I have ridden competitively in both the English and western arenas, showing both Arabians and Quarter Horses. Showmanship and western riding are my two favorite events. I also have limited experience in team sorting, cutting, dressage and halter.
My upbringing in a breeding family, experience in the show-pen and the opportunities I have had to take lessons and attend clinics with some amazing horsemen and women, has given me an advantage in my massage business. I have a good eye for conformational faults that could lead to potential soundness difficulties or possible injuries. I also have a very in depth understanding of equine biomechanics and how it applies to collection and proper or improper muscle development, and how it can aid or impede the rehabilitation and healing process, which allows me to further assist my clients in improving their horses health and performance through giving them riding lessons, teaching gymnastic style exercises, stretching and doing body work.
As soon as I graduated from MNHA in 2014 I was introduced to Dr. Andrea Grindeland, DVM, who quickly became my mentor, colleague and dear friend. With her guidance and partnership I was able to gain knowledge on the skeletal system, equine chiropractic and assessing equine lameness. In 2015 I was introduced to Laine Jorgensen who was the first certified equine thermographer in the state, Laine and I fostered a great friendship as we worked through experimental trials using thermal imaging to asses how massage and bodywork affects the equine musculoskeletal and lymphatic system. These trials allowed me to provide evidential proof of the effectiveness of not only massage, but all types of body work, and how each one works independently alongside the other.
I am excited to be able to share my experience and knowledge with the students of MNHA! I believe that we never stop learning and that experience and time is the best teacher of all!
Hi! I'm Rieley and I reside in Wickenburg AZ. I have been around and worked with horses my whole life. I grew up in the arena barrel racing and now run a cattle ranch with my husband where we work with and train ranch horses. I got into equine massage therapy for our personal horses to keep them feeling their best and to help them stand the long days on the ranch under saddle. I started helping friends with their horses who had massage and rehab needs and ended up making a side business with the work. It's been a greatly rewarding job and I love being able to help these great horses. My favorite is taking on the tough rehab cases, I love the challenge and the great outcomes. I'm excited to meet everyone and continue on with this new venture!
TEXAS CLASS INSTRUCTOR-CHELSY STEWART
My name is Chelsy Stewart. My love of horses started at a very young age in Idaho. My mom always had horses and from the time I was old enough to hold on we would go riding. As I grew I started in the local 4-h club. I loved 4-h but I really found out that I enjoyed going a little faster and started down the Jr. rodeo road. Coming from a small town in Idaho I learned that having fit horses helped set me apart. I didn't have an arena but I did have long trails and lots of time riding to the local arena to practice. High school rodeo treated me very well with district 2 all around championships my Jr and Sr year. I had very nice horses that were special and very different. All of which I had trained mostly on my own. I loved spending most of my spare time still riding and practicing. Those horses took me to college and we continued to evolve making it to the CNFR in the breakaway the three years I was at college. Fast forward to 2018 my husband and I packed up and moved to Wickenburg Az. I decided to take a chance and take an equine massage course. If I'd of guessed where an equine massage class would get me I'd of told people they were crazy. I was tired of paying people to work on my horses and decided to take matters into my own hands. Best choice I could have made. I wasn't looking to make a career out of it. I just wanted to help my own horses. I happened to mention at work one day I was starting to do equine massage and someone heard me. They asked if I could come look at their horse. My first client! I love helping the horses but it's also very rewarding seeing people's reaction to getting their horses some relief from pain and discomfort. We now call Decatur Texas home. In 2023 I went ahead crested Iron Horse Massage LLC . We are in the middle of everything equine and we love it. I'm excited to grow my massage business and start this teaching adventure with MNHA.
